I decided to get a little creative with our boring, black side table. I painted it a cottage white, and gave it a pop of color with a red, floral knob from Anthropologie. These are the before and after photographs.

After: Side table painted white with bright drawer knob from Anthropologie
The Provence bench is from World Market (available, here, on sale now- as of 9/3/12)
*Note: the Provence bench does not have much support in the middle. My husband, Craig, had to add a 2x6 custom-fit board beneath it. |

Fun knobs I got from Anthropologie! I decided on the red, floral knob for this side table makeover. |
|
After: brass knob replaced with knob from Anthropologie. |
|
After: (I know, bad photo, bad lighting... I will try again later) Drawer interior painted blue |

What a huge difference. I can see how the new changes lighten up the space. Well done.

I am going to look at my black side table in a new light ...
Looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the knob. We're currently decorating our new place (we just moved) and I've been trying to repaint furniture. This definitely gave me some new ideas.
